After having my trios scan the next step was to have an appointment with Jake – the practice’s in house smile designer.
Using the trios scan taken of my teeth he showed me how my teeth can be moved into position. He was able to measure how much each tooth would move and which position they would end up in. I was able to tell him which teeth I wanted to be moved and was able to view how my teeth would look after having my treatment.
Using this new software Jake is able to see how the movement of my teeth will affect the way I bite, how many aligners I will need, how much stripping is needed and how long the treatment will take.
I would definitely recommend this appointment. Being able to see the outcome of your treatment is exciting and will be well worth the wait.
This appointment is so beneficial as you can see the result without having to wait for the treatment to be complete.
