The celebrated National Smile Month, a nationwide drive to help spread positive oral health messages, is back with a bang next month and Ewan Bramley urges everyone to get on board.

In 2017, the United Kingdom’s longest-running and largest oral health drive – is set to take place for one whole month between 15 May and 15 June – and has two clear aims; to make a big difference to millions of people’s smiles and well-being and to increase awareness about important oral health issues.

National Smile Month, a campaign supported by thousands of organisations and individuals, comes with three core messages, all with positive oral health in mind.

Let’s take a look!

  • Make sure you make regular visits to the dentist as and when they recommend it.
  • Curb your intake of sugary drinks and foods.
  • Using fluoride toothpaste, make sure you brush at least once during the daytime and last thing at night.
