Do you have a cracked or broken tooth? A crown might be the option for you.

A crown is a tooth shaped cap that is placed on top of the tooth to provide it with additional strength or to restore the tooth back to it’s natural form, size and function.

A crown is usually for teeth that have been heavily filled in the past and has begun to break down and needs to be rebuilt to restore function or improve aesthetics. This is particular common for older adults who have had fillings a very long time ago, dentistry was quite aggressive then and teeth have been filled quite extensively.

If you are unhappy with the appearance of your teeth, you’re not the only one as one in four of us here in the UK aren’t happy with their smile. But if you would like a painless way of improving your teeth, without the need for braces, and you’re struggling to find a cosmetic dentist, Union Quay Dental has the answer
