We all watched on with pride at this summer’s Rio Olympics when GB Olympic gold medal winners, Laura Trott and Jason Kenny took to the podium to receive their awards. But did you know they won another race this summer?

Yes, it’s true. Our sporting Lions also won the race to get beautiful straight white teeth this summer thanks to the help of invisible braces, or clear aligners as they are also referred to.

You see, even sports stars need to get their teeth straightened and this particular pair had even more to shout about and celebrate after Rio once the stunning results of their clear alignment treatment were there for all to see.

Both Laura Trott and Jason Kenny successfully completed invisible braces treatment ahead of Rio 2016 – an Olympics which saw Jason equal Sir Chris Hoy’s amazing total of six Olympic gold medals.

Meanwhile, Laura Trott became the UK’s most decorated female after the event; so it’s only right and fair that the pair have beautiful straight teeth to complement their sporting achievements!

Gold standard smiles for our Olympic heroes…

Laura and Jason decided they needed to do something about their smiles when they looked back at their photographs from the London’s much talked about Olympic Games in 2012. When they looked at snaps of them biting their gold medals they noticed that their teeth were misaligned.

Laura explains: “You can see my teeth in all the photos taken of me, especially the close ups where I am biting my medals!”

“So I had treatment because I am in the public eye and wanted to be able to smile with more confidence.’

Jason added: “‘In pictures taken over the last eight years I had become very aware that my teeth were getting worse and I want to be able to smile on the podium at the Olympics.

“I had treatment to straighten my teeth to improve my confidence.”
