Could my wisdom teeth be infected?
December 10, 2017
If you still have your wisdom teeth, it’s important to know what to look out for. Lots of wisdom teeth only erupt partially so there is always potential for infection.
Early indications of infection include:
– Red, swollen gums
– Nasty taste, odour or pus
– Fever, chills, and even jaw spasms
If you experience any of these symptoms you should see your dentist.
“Your dentist will discuss the best options for your treatment with you once your symptoms are evaluated and a diagnosis is made.”
