Here at Union Quay Dental, we pride ourselves on helping you maintain a beautiful, healthy smile.
Our monthly plans provide you guaranteed access to our talented dentists and hygienists who will help and advise you on ways to keep your smile the best it can be. We have 3 levels for you to choose from, all depending on how regularly you would like to see our hygienists.
What can we offer?
We have 3 monthly plans available for you to join, our plans include hygiene appointments, yearly check ups and emergency appointments.
A new patient exam will be needed before joining our plans, this appointment will give our dentists a chance to check your teeth, gums and advise which plan is best value for you to join. This appointment is a one off cost of £135.00.
Patients must have stable oral health before joining the plans. Our plans also include free top up whitening for those patients who have previously had a course of whitening with us.

What makes the hygiene appointments so good?
Our hygienists are trained to a high standard, they take absolute pride in their work. Our patients describe them as ‘the best hygienists in the north east!’ Our hygiene appointments are 1 hour long instead of the industry standard of 20 or 30 minutes, this includes air flow stain removal and deep cleaning for the gums.
During your hour long appointment, our hygienists will take time and care providing you with an amazing clean. Any staining that has built up can be removed and your teeth will look beautiful. This isn’t all cosmetic though, if you suffer from any gum disease, our hygienists will be able to provide the best care and advice on how to help you improve your oral health.
Yearly Dental examinations!
Our talented dentists will check the full health of your teeth and gums. They will take an x-ray and discuss the findings with you and advise if any treatment is needed. An oral cancer check will be carried out to ensure the full health of your mouth along with keeping an eye on any current restorations and existing dental conditions you may have.
Access to emergency appointments!
We will always do our very best to see patients as soon as possible. If you’re experiencing dental pain or an urgent issue, please contact us as early in the day as you can, and our team will prioritise your care wherever possible.
Tooth Whitening (Adults Only)
- You receive 1–2 top-up tubes per year depending on your plan.
- You must have completed a whitening course with us or bring your trays for inspection if they were made elsewhere.
- Whitening course: £389 (includes 5 tubes)
- Replacement trays: £77 per tray
Emergency Appointments (Adults)
Included in your plan:
- Plan 1: 1 per year
- Plan 2: 2 per year
- Plan 3: 4 per year
Urgent: Severe pain, swelling, bleeding — seen within 24 hours
Non-urgent: Sensitivity, broken tooth — we aim to see you as soon as possible
Periodontal Maintenance
All new patients require a periodontal assessment with a hygienist; this can be up to a 1 hour appointment at £140.00.
Ongoing periodontal maintenance is included as per your selected plan.

What about my children, can they join a plan?
Of course! A new patient exam will be needed but the fee does not apply to anyone under the age of 16 as long as they are being added to a parent or guardians plan. Anyone over 16 will have to pay the new patient exam fee.
Children 3 and under are free!
Children 4-15 can be added to a parent or guardians plan for £6.00 per month
Anyone 16 or over will join our Adult plans.
A child’s plan includes the following;
2 dental exams a year
All emergency appointments
20% discount on any dental treatment required
Hygiene appointments (as prescribed by a dentist)
It does not include;
Teeth whitening
Cosmetic treatment such as orthodontics. (We can refer to an NHS orthodontist if required)
